The aim of vaccination is to protect individuals and society against infections/ diseases that can be prevented by/with vaccination. It is common to observe slight unwanted adverse effects after vaccination. These adverse effects are rarely severe to become life threatening. As an adverse effect of vaccination, infectious abscess is rare, serious and life threatening. This case was presented when abscess developed at the point of Hepatitis B vaccination done in the second post-natal day.
