Abstract
References

Tineaincognito is a dermatofitosis formed by using calcineurin inhibitors or topical corticosteroids as a result of wrong diagnosis to dermatophytein fections such as eczema and contact dermatitis. Typical tinea appearance has been destroyed in the disease. Generally, direct microscopic observation or biopsy is carriedout in its diagnosis. Usually, it is formed at theprimary care. Gaining an approach to dermatological diseases and teaching direct microscopic observation which is an easy and cheap method in family medicine training will prevent wrong diagnosis and wrong treatment. This will prevent the decreasing of the patients’ quality of life and reducet he workload of secondary care. For this purpose, a tinea incognito case which is treated by steroid stodermatophy tein fectionby a family doctor has been in vestigated.
