Abstract
References

Achalasia is a motility disorder characterized by the absence of esophageal peristaltism and insufficient relaxation of the lower e-sophageal sphincter during swallowing. This case report presents a male patient who does not have any complaint related to achalasia but diagnosed by means of a thorax tomography performed during radiologic investigation following a traffic accident. Even serious symptoms of rare disorders may stay unrecognized for a long time so each symptom of an individual should be seriously taken into consideration by family physicians.
