New Aspects of the Routine Prenatal Care
Health of the mother and the baby is an accepted sign of civilisation. Reaching the mother and the baby to labour in good conditions can only be possible with a prevailing, principled, and current follow-up algorithm. History taking during and also before pregnancy, some of the major problems of today like obezity, nutrition, and diabetes; tiroid disorders, and preeclampsia are emphasized in this article. The new aspects for the quality and quantity of the prenatal visits, and noninvasive diagnosis alternatives for aneuploidies are also mentioned. Our aim is mainly laying the foundations of a profound aspect in the light of the current information and protocols for all the medical staff assigned at the prenatal care.
