Exercise Prescription in Obese and Overweight
Obesity, whose prevalence is increasing daily, is a life threatening clinical condition characterized with increased weight. It has the fifth place in the causes of death in the world. This shows that it needs to be fought against seriously. It is essential to reduce calorie intake as well as increase the calorie expenditure in this fight. To increase the calorie expenditure, it is needed to add exercise in daily life. Correctly performed exercise is one of the basic fundamentals of the fight against obesity.
